United Kingdom. Crimea Medal with Sebastopol pin, 1854
The Crimea Medal is a British campaign medal approved on 15 December 1854 by Queen Victoria, awarded to officers and enlisted men of British units (land and naval) that fought in the Crimean War of 1854–56 against the Russian Empire.
The Sebastopol bar is from 1854–55.
It has a reference to the person to whom it was awarded on the edge of the medal, although it is difficult to read what it says.
The ribbon is a replacement.
