The Order of the People’s Army, established on December 29, 1951, was a high-ranking military decoration of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. It was awarded to officers, soldiers, and military units for outstanding merits in the strengthening and development of the Yugoslav People’s Army.
This distinction recognized exceptional achievements in military service, the defense of the country, and loyalty to the principles of socialism and the brotherhood among the Yugoslav peoples.
