The Partisan Star Order, established on August 15, 1943, was a Yugoslav military decoration created to reward officers and commanders who demonstrated outstanding leadership and bravery during the partisan struggle in World War II. Issued in several classes, the order recognized exceptional merit in organizing, leading, and succeeding in military operations against fascist occupation forces. Its design featured the red star, symbol of socialism and resistance, reflecting the commitment to the antifascist cause and the building of the socialist Yugoslav state. The order represented a high honor within the Yugoslav military award system.
