Document of gratitude to a Unit Commander on behalf of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief and Marshal of the Soviet Union, Comrade Stalin, for the liquidation of the group surrounded by German troops from East Prussia to the Southwest of Koenigsberg.
During the fighting from March 13 to 29, the Germans lost more than 50,000 prisoners and 80,000 dead, while the front troops captured 605 tanks and self-propelled guns and more than 3,500 field guns.
