USSR Soviet Union. Soviet Ssh-39 helmet from the Lysva Metallurgical Factory (LMZ). Marked «3» in reference to the large size (only 7% of the helmets produced were large size) and the number «5779» corresponding to the batch number. It preserves remains of the liner and the original chinstrap. The front star is post-war. This model is rare to find since in 1940 it was replaced by the Ssh-40. Soviet helmet from World War II.
