Manchukuo, Japan. National Shrine Foundation Commemorative Medal from 1940.
Manchukuo was a puppet state of the Japanese Empire in the Chinese territory of Manchuria. Founded in 1932 as a Republic, it was a Constitutional Monarchy from 1934 to 1945 under the reign of Pu Yi.
