Spain. Trousers M1926 used in the Spanish Civil War. They could belong to the Republican Army or the Nationalist Army.
The 1926 Regulation Grenadier Trousers were the most widely used in the Spanish Civil War by both sides. They are a type of khaki baggy trousers with a row of buttons between the ankle and the knee. At the start of the war in 1936, they were the standard issue trousers of the Spanish Army.
These trousers retain the seven wooden and paste buttons on the right leg and six on the left leg (one is missing). They also have the four buttons on the front, from different manufacturers.
The waist is 41 cm wide and the leg is 106 cm long.
